Body Positive POWER: How to Love and embrace your body

Your body is a powerful vessel that carrys you through this life. It's time to love and embrace your body the way it is right now...in this moment. Here are some ways to can embrace your body positive power NOW!

1. You are worth it! 
No matter what society tells you, always remember that you are worth it! No one has the right to tell you that you're not good enough or that you need to change your body to meet their standards. You are perfect just the way you are, and you should never apologize for being yourself. So go out there and live your life to the fullest – because you deserve it!

2. Accept yourself for who you are 
It's time to stop beating yourself up and start loving yourself - flaws and all! No one is perfect, and that's what makes us all unique and interesting. So instead of fixating on what you perceive as your shortcomings, focus on everything that makes you amazing. Embrace your curves, love your freckles, and flaunt your quirky sense of style. You are beautiful just the way you are, so it's time to start celebrating yourself! By learning to accept yourself for who you are, you'll not only boost your own confidence but also set a positive example for others. So go ahead and love yourself - the world could use a little more body positivity!

3. Appreciate your body's abilities 
It's easy to take our bodies for granted. We expect them to just work, without giving much thought to all the amazing things they do for us every day. But when you stop to think about it, your body is pretty incredible! It's able to heal itself, fight off diseases, and even repair itself after an injury. So why not show your body some appreciation? Start by being body positive. Accept yourself for who you are, and love your body just the way it is. Then show your body some love by taking care of it. Eat healthy foods, exercise regularly, and get plenty of rest. Showing your body some appreciation will go a long way towards keeping it healthy and happy!

4. Be gentle with yourself- don't be too hard on yourself if you make a mistake 
We all make mistakes. It's part of being human. Sometimes we trip and fall. Sometimes we mispronounce a word. Sometimes we hit the wrong key on the keyboard and accidentally delete an entire document. It happens. And when it does, it's important to be gentle with yourself. You're only human, after all. So go easy on yourself if you make a mistake. Shake it off and move on. After all, life is too short to dwell on your mistakes. Learn from them and then let them go.

5. Give yourself time to adjust to the new way of thinking about your body 
So you've decided to finally jump on the body positive bandwagon - congratulations! But don't expect things to change overnight. It takes time to adjust to the new way of thinking about your body, and there will be some bumps along the way. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you make the transition:

6.  Don't be too hard on yourself. 
This is a process, and it's okay if you don't get it perfect right away. Just keep doing your best and be patient with yourself.  Be prepared for some triggers. Seeing pictures of "perfect" bodies in the media can be tough, even if you're trying to be body positive. When you see these images, try to remember that they're not real or representative of what's actually beautiful.

7. Seek out body positive resources. 
There are tons of great books, websites, and Instagram accounts dedicated to body positivity. Reading and following these can help you feel more supported in your journey.

Above all, just remember that you're worth the effort. Your body is beautiful just the way it is, and you deserve to love and accept yourself exactly as you are. Congrats again - you've got this!  Celebrate your body positive power!  In a world that's constantly telling us to diet and lose weight, it can be hard to love our bodies just the way they are. But you know what? Screw that noise! It's time to celebrate our body positive power! Whether we're a size 2 or a size 22, we're all beautiful and deserve to feel confident and Sexy AF.
