This is why I put peaches in my salad!
I love summer salads. They are fresh, crisp, cold & delicious. I recently discovered this salad & had to share! Peaches are in season right now so it is a perfect time to make this salad. I would have never thought to put this combo together, but man is it tasty! I feel like peaches in salad is kind of like the whole debate about if pineapple belongs on pizza...(which it does in my opinion). Soo...would you put peaches in your salad?

Peach, Tomato, Corn & Basil Salad
2 peaches
2 ears of corn
20-30 grape tomatoes
3-5 basil leaves or 1-2 drops of Basil food flavoring
1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper (to taste)

1. Small dice the peaches into bite size pieces.
2. Cut kernels off of the ears of the corn.

3. Slice grape tomatoes into halves.
4. Add all ingredients into a medium size bowl

5.Chop basil leaves or add 1-2 drops of basil food flavoring to medium size bowl.
6. Add 1/4 cup of white balsamic vinegar to bowl.

Embrace your imperfectly perfect self!
Can you honestly say that you love yourself? This is something that I have overcome through a lot of hard work and personal development. I used to hate myself & my body. Always feeling like I wasn't good enough, worthy of belonging or love. Through a lot of different natural approaches and soul searching...I can now say at 38 years old that I love me & my body...just the way it is!
I want to share with you some of the ways that I have accomplished this. It didn't happen overnight. There are still days where those thoughts enter my mind...but I know I have the tools and knowledge to keep on the path of loving myself and my body.

1. Journaling
Journaling has been a life saver for me. I have developed myself a daily routine of writing down positive affirmations, things I am grateful for & goals (writing them down as if I have already achieved them). Doing this practice regularly sets me up for a great day! I also have a couple natural products that I apply during my journaling practice that allows me to feel grounded, centered and at peace.

2. Yoga
Yoga has forever changed my life & I am soo grateful for all that my practice has taught me. It has allowed me to gain self love, peace & power. Being a plus size woman I never thought Yoga was meant for me, but when I got up the courage to take my first yoga class...life changed. I began my personal Yoga practice, which lead to me becoming a Yoga Teacher. Fast forward to the present...& I have my own studio where I teach Hatha Yoga that incorporates aromatherapy to enhance the practice. Yoga has taught me to love my body, my mind & my spirit. It has given me courage, strength & a community of people who align with my light. I end each of my practices with a affirmation of " We are imperfectly perfect, just the way we are". I want other women to know that if you have ever thought of trying Yoga & thought that it wasn't meant for you...to step out of your comfort zone & try it...it might just change your life.

3.Aromatherapy
This plant magic has also allowed me to work through a lot of emotions that come up throughout my life. I have a daily routine of aromatherapy that enhances my mood, gives me courage, calms me down, or provides my body with different types of health support. Being a woman in her 30's I also had hormones that were WAY out of whack & I was able to support my hormones in a natural way by applying a serum once a day. This has also been a life changer for myself & husband (wink wink). The benefits that aromatherapy provides to me & my family are also life changing.
4. Crystals
A newly found love of mine is the amazing world of crystals. Crystal energy provides positive, uplifting, energizing, and calming vibrations that help you achieve a more peaceful mind and a revitalized physical state of being. I have found by incorporating crystals into my aromatherapy, yoga & journaling practices it enhances the experience and I love using my intuition to pick which crystal I need for that day or time. I have recently completed my crystal healer certification & I am beyond excited to share this practice with those who feel drawn to it.

The magic trio of crystals, oils & affirmations
My love for this trio all started with essential oils. I have used oils in my home for the past 5 years. It has changed my life in soo many ways. I have recently entered into the world of crystals, and I am soo amazed at how they pair so wonderfully with essential oils. MY JOURNEY TO YOGA
I was over 300 lbs & my good friend was trying to convince me to try Yoga. My words were..."I can't do yoga...I would look like a beached whale on the mat." Man... was my perception wrong. After losing 50lbs I told her I would go to my first class. That class changed everything. I fell in love with Yoga. For a person who had a horrible relationship with myself...yoga has allowed me to find love for my body 💜 Fast forward 7 years...I now am a Yoga & meditation teacher...I own my own studio...I love my body & I empower others to do the same. Yes...I am still plus sized...and I love who I am. I now realize that taking care of yourself has to start from the inside...without love for yourself you will never be happy at any size! I have also found essential oils along my Yoga journey...which has allowed me to infuse my Yoga practice with essential oils. I want to empower other Yoga teachers to infuse essential oils into their yoga practice & lives. I also want to encourage other to take steps towards overall health and wellness starting from the inside. I have found many natural products that support all the areas of my physical, emotional, mental & spiritual health. The benefits of
drinking enough water
drinking enough water
Drinking enough water can be a challenge with the busy lifestyle many of us have. It may sometimes seem like we don't even have enough time to eat, never mind drinking half our body weight in oz or water each day, which is what many recommend. I am trying to drink at least 8 cups of water per day.
I struggle with drinking enough water each day. I sometimes start to feel a headache coming on and I soon realize that I have drank ZERO ounces of water that day. Not drinking enough water can also cause dry skin, dehydration, fatigue, weakened immunity and more! I read somewhere in a book that we are not sick...we are thirsty!
Over my time of trying all the different way to trick my mind into drinking enough water I have found a couple ways that makes water interesting & doesn't spend a lot time or effort.
1. Carbonated water
I enjoy fizzy water. I personally have one of those carbonated beverage machines that allows me to make water fizzy and less boring. I will also add some flavor boost to it that I will explain in the next tip.
2. Essential Oils!
Who knew that water and oils do mix! I love adding a dash of Young Living dietary line of oils to my water (Remember oils are very concentrated and powerful!) You only need 1 drop in your glass of water. Mix it up and it tastes fabulous! My favorites are lemon, peppermint and orange. Also remember that not all oils are created equal...don't consume just any brand of essential oils! Young Living oils are approved for consumption.
3. A straw
Water tastes better out of a straw for me. I find I sip it more often throughout the day & I end up drinking more of it! I love stainless steel straws..they make the water taste colder (In my head, maybe). You're more likely to swallow more at a time when you drink from a straw compared to when you sip directly from the bottle.
