Weekly Wellness: What happens when you stop hating your body?
I'm not going to lie. I used to hate my body. I would look in the mirror and see all of my flaws; the things that made me different than everyone else. I would dissect every part of myself, wishing I could just be like everyone else. But then something changed. Slowly but surely, I started to accept myself for who I was. And you know what? It felt really good. So if you're currently hating your body, here are four reasons why you should stop right now...and how life changes when you do!

1. You stop wasting time and energy on negative thoughts about your body
When you stop wasting time and energy on negative thoughts about your body, you open up a world of possibility. Instead of fixating on your perceived flaws, you can focus on the things that make you happy and fulfilled. You may find that you have more energy to pursue your passions, and that you feel more confident in your everyday interactions. Instead of letting your insecurities hold you back, you can start living your life to the fullest. So what are you waiting for? It's time to start thinking positively about your body!

2. You start to appreciate all that your body can do
Most of us take our bodies for granted. We expect them to just work, without giving much thought to how amazing they actually are. But what happens when you start to appreciate all that your body can do? For one thing, you might start taking better care of yourself. You might eat healthier food, get regular exercise, and get enough sleep. You might also start to feel more confident and powerful. After all, if your body is capable of doing all sorts of amazing things, then you must be pretty amazing too! So the next time you start to see your body as a mere machine, take a moment to appreciate all the incredible things it can do. Who knows, you might just end up feeling pretty darn good about yourself in the process.

3. You feel more confident and comfortable in your own skin
There's nothing quite like the feeling of confidence. When you're confident, you feel like you can take on the world. You're comfortable in your own skin and you're radiating positive energy. People are drawn to you and you just can't help but smile. Everything feels possible when you're in this state of mind.

But what exactly happens when you feel more confident? For starters, your brain releases dopamine, which is a neurotransmitter that helps regulate mood and motivation. This dopamine boost makes you feel good and also helps improve your focus and concentration. When you're more confident, you're also more likely to take risks and try new things. This is because confidence gives you the courage to step outside of your comfort zone. And finally, confidence also makes you more attractive to others. This is because confidence is contagious - people see someone who is radiating positive energy and they can't help but be drawn to them.

So go out there and embrace your inner confidence! It's sure to lead to some amazing things.

4. You learn to love yourself for who you are, flaws and all
There's a reason why so many people find it hard to love themselves. It's because they're constantly looking for flaws and picking themselves apart. But what happens when you learn to love yourself for who you are, flaws and all? For starters, you'll be a lot happier. You'll also be more confident and secure in yourself. The people around you will also start to see the difference. They'll see that you're comfortable in your own skin and that you don't take yourself too seriously. As a result, they'll start to respect and admire you more. So, if you're looking for a way to improve your life, learn to love yourself for who you are. It just might be the best decision you ever make.
