Weekly Wellness: What abundance means to me...
People often talk about how they want to find abundance in their lives. But, what does that actually mean? What does it look like? To me, abundance is having more than enough of whatever you need. It's being able to live a life that is full of purpose and happiness, no matter what curveballs life throws your way. I believe that everyone can create an abundant life for themselves – it just takes a bit of effort and practice. Here are some tips on how to do just that!

The word abundance is often linked to money and material gain…but it is actually so much more than that! True abundance described by Deepak Chopra. “True abundance is the experience in which needs are easily met and desires are spontaneously fulfilled. You know it when you feel joy, health, happiness, a sense of purpose, and vitality in every moment of our existence (Deepak Chopra)”.

Some ways you can start to tap into your abundance? Here are my favorite tips...

1. ABUNDANCE IS BEING KIND TO YOURSELF
It's time to stop judging yourself. You are human, you are fallible, and you are imperfectly perfect. Accepting yourself for who you are is the first step towards abundance. When you judge yourself, you limit your potential and stress yourself out needlessly. Stop beating yourself up for your mistakes and start celebrating your successes. Remember, you are on your own journey and you are doing the best you can. So cut yourself some slack and enjoy the ride. Life is too short to waste time beating yourself up. Be kind to yourself and watch as abundance flows into your life.

2. ABUNDANCE IS ACCEPTING YOUR FLAWS
We're human, after all. And sometimes, those mistakes can be pretty big ones. But it's important to remember that we're not defined by our mistakes. We're defined by how we deal with them. Are we able to learn from them and move on? Or do we dwell on them, beating ourselves up over and over again? If you tend to be hard on yourself, I have some good news for you: there's an abundance of forgiveness out there. You just have to be willing to accept it. And once you do, you'll find that it's much easier to be gentle and forgiving with yourself. So go ahead and give yourself a break. You deserve it.

3. ABUNDANCE IS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
One of the best things you can do for yourself is to love yourself unconditionally. When you love yourself, you open up a world of abundance. You are no longer limited by your own perceived shortcomings and failures. Instead, you view yourself with compassion and understanding. You accepts yourself for who you are, warts and all. This doesn't mean that you don't strive to improve yourself. It simply means that you don't let your mistakes define you. When you love yourself unconditionally, you unlock your true potential. You become the best version of yourself. So go ahead and treat yourself with some unconditional love today. You deserve it!

4. SELF-LOVE IS THE KEY TO ABUNDANCE
When it comes to abundance, self-love is the key. Too often, we get caught up in striving for things that we think will make us happy--a bigger house, a nicer car, a better job. But the truth is that abundance isn't about what you have; it's about how you feel. And you can't feel abundant if you don't love and appreciate yourself. So start show yourself some love today. Appreciate your successes, forgive your mistakes, and treat yourself with kindness and respect. When you do, you'll find that abundance comes naturally.
